Job summary

Ameresco, Inc. is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Technician for our RNG Facility in Tolleson, AZ. You will report to the Plant Manager and ensure safety, compliance, and reliability while leading a small operations team.

The role features an 8-hour day shift with on-call weekend rotation, requiring DOT compliance and strong maintenance planning skills. You will contribute to cost management and continuous improvements in plant performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of direct operation & maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Valid US driver’s license required.
• As a Tolleson RNG Plant team member, must meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Establish a safety-centric team culture.
• Ensure compliance with DOT requirements and manuals.
• Proactively prevent accidents and enhance safety.
• Drive continuous safety improvements across the organization.
• Report incidents and support investigations.
• Operate and maintain the facility in compliance with permits.
• Develop and maintain a proactive equipment maintenance plan.
• Coordinate and perform maintenance activities efficiently.
• Oversee planned maintenance outages and manage records.
• Collaborate to achieve plant production goals.
• Identify upgrades for safety and reliability.
• Respond to plant issues beyond regular hours.
• Support budgeting and cost management for the Plant Manager.
