PEAKS Renewables focuses on business opportunities at the intersection of decarbonization and natural gas, including Renewable Natural Gas, Biogas, Renewable Hydrogen, and Power-to-Gas projects. As a subsidiary of Summit Utilities, which operates gas distribution companies in five states, PEAKS is actively developing several RNG and hydrogen projects both within and outside Summit’s utility territories.
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an RNG Operations Technician (I, II, or III) based in Clinton, ME, with a $6,000 sign-on bonus!
This role is key in operating a significant renewable energy project in Maine. Responsibilities include the operations and maintenance of facilities in Clinton and surrounding farms. The role combines manual labor with technical learning and proficiency in equipment and software.
High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience varies by level:
Preferably a technical degree in electrical or mechanical fields or equivalent experience. Knowledge of gas compression/transportation, strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency with MS Office, good time management, and a strong work ethic are essential. Understanding safety principles is critical.
This position is subject to D.O.T. regulations and Summit’s Drug and Alcohol Policy, including random drug testing.
