About The Role

The Operations Technician is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and performance of a landfill gas to RNG processing facility. Travel requirements are 25%-50% per month, with higher travel in the first year for new plants.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage safe operation of the plant during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with SOPs and safety standards.
• Conduct inspections, monitor operational data, and perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Operate instrumentation and control systems, diagnose malfunctions, and perform electrical testing and repairs.
• Maintain plant equipment, ensure cleanliness, and document operations.
• Respond to callouts, perform tests, and follow safety procedures, including hazardous waste handling.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate electrical, chemical, and mechanical experience.
• 1-3 years in landfill gas or similar operations preferred.
• Understanding of process control systems, sensors, and schematics.
• Ability to read blueprints, interpret instructions, and operate computers and monitoring equipment.
• Valid driver’s license, background check, and DOT drug test required.
