Job summary

Seaboard Foods seeks a Renewable Natural Gas Biogas Technician to operate, maintain, and repair RNG facilities’ mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical equipment. You will work in a team, ensuring safe operations and adherence to QSH&E goals.

The role involves rotating shifts (7 days on, 7 days off) with on-call nights and weekends, and requires the ability to move around large facilities and lift up to 50 lbs. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret English-language materials.
• Ability to present information effectively to groups of customers and visitors.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate RNG facilities from a control room; identify issues and implement changes to ensure steady operations.
• Support safety, health, environment, and quality goals and continuous improvement plans.
• Perform work orders and ensure maintenance is performed safely and to standard.
• Calibrate and repair pH sensors, pressure, temperature, and flow transmitters.
• Keep accurate calibration records in equipment data files.
• Perform preventive maintenance on water, air systems, heat exchangers, and pumps.
• Maintain compressors, motors, pumps, and valves; diagnose and repair electrical power and control systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments and testing devices.
• Rotate on-call schedule as required.
