Job summary

Seaboard Foods is hiring a Renewable Natural Gas Biogas Technician in Guymon, OK. You will operate and maintain RNG facilities, perform calibrations, and handle electrical and instrumentation repairs in a safety-conscious environment.

The role requires mechanical/electrical aptitude, ability to work rotating shifts, and adherence to QSH&E goals. Benefits include medical, 401k, PTO, wellness, tuition reimbursement, and pork purchase programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret English language documents.
• Strong presentation and communication skills when dealing with customers and visitors.
• Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Associate's degree or technical diploma preferred; biology/chemistry background preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in a chemical or petrochemical environment preferred.
• Previous experience in gas compression preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor/Operate RNG facilities from a control room; identify issues and adjust to maintain steady operations.
• Support QSH&E goals and ongoing improvement plans.
• Perform work orders; ensure maintenance follows safety rules.
• Calibrate and repair PH sensors, pressure, temperature and flow transmitters.
• Ensure proper record keeping of calibrations in equipment data files.
• Perform preventive maintenance on water, air systems, heat exchangers and pumps.
• Maintain compressors, motors, pumps, and valves; diagnose and repair electrical power and control systems.
• Use tools ranging from hand tools to precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices.
• Be available for rotating on-call schedule.
