AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking an experienced perioperative RN on a full-time, day shift. The role involves general nursing in the operating room, pre- and postoperative care, and collaboration with surgeons and staff.

Salary adjustments through the Clinical Ladder may apply based on experience and advancement criteria. Eligible clinicians can earn up to 20% salary increases through the ladder program; a $25,000 sign-on bonus and $3,000 relocation are available per eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• 1+ year of general nursing in acute care is preferred.
• 2+ years in the required specialty is preferred.
• 2+ years circulating and/or scrub experience in multi-specialty settings is required.

Responsabilités

• Assure appropriate traffic control in the operating room.
• Initiate incident reporting mechanisms when indicated.
• Promote intra- and interdepartmental relations.
• Assist with orientation of new employees and support unit leadership.
• Provide specialized peri-operative nursing care across all phases.
• Assist with pre- and postoperative patient assessment and update preference cards.
• Perform surgical counts and prepare operating room setup.
• Recognize abnormal diagnostics and emergencies and respond appropriately.
• Maintain patient privacy, safety and confidentiality at all times.
