Responsibilities

• Delivers intraoperative patient care as the first assistant to the surgeon(s).
• Collaborates with the perioperative team to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Administers medications and implements the perioperative plan of care.
• Participates in professional development and contributes to peer education.
• Provides ethical leadership and patient advocacy in the perioperative setting.
