Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is recruiting a Certified RN First Assistant to join the perioperative team. The role includes assisting in operative procedures and ensuring patient-family centered care throughout the perioperative continuum. Requires RN licensure and completion of a recognized RNFA program with perioperative experience.

Candidates should have CNOR/CRNFA certifications and BCLS/ACLS/PALS; CVOR experience is preferred. This is a fulltime, on-site position with a sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program.
• Completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, which includes didactic and clinical components.
• 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience.
• 3 years minimum experience as an RN or Surgical Tech in the CVOR, if working in the CVOR.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative services.
• Functions as an RN first assistant during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Performs as an RN circulator when applicable within perioperative continuum.
