Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced perioperative RN/ RNFA to deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered care across the OR and perioperative continuum. The role includes RN first assistant duties during procedures and RN circulator responsibilities as required.

Requirements include graduation from a nursing program, completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program, and 2 years perioperative RN or RNFA experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program; completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant program is required.
• RN First Assistant certification or program completion is required.
• Two years perioperative RN or RNFA experience is required.
• Three years as RN or Surgical Tech in CVOR (if CVOR) is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective and patient-family centered perioperative care in the OR and perioperative areas.
• Serve as an RN first assistant during operative and invasive procedures and as RN circulator as needed.
