Job summary

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a Temporary Manufacturing Associate I, RNA Reagents, to join our manufacturing team in San Diego. You will set up, clean, operate and maintain equipment, perform enzymatic reactions, and document in batch records.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing lab experience, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and experience with SOPs. This role offers growth, comprehensive benefits, and an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific field.
• 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing laboratory experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Experience executing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for production by reviewing schedules, specifications, and materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per SOPs.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment; initiate repairs as needed.
• Document production accurately in batch records and forms.
• Receive materials and manage laboratory inventory and ERP data.
• Contribute to training and continual process improvement.
