Job summary

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a Temporary Manufacturing Associate I to join the Manufacturing team. The role focuses on formulating reagents, packaging, labeling, and handling non-hazardous and hazardous materials for oligonucleotide synthesis and purification.

You will work with SOPs/WIs, maintain inventory, and ensure proper documentation in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include instrument and glassware maintenance, shipping support, and compliance with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must follow written SOPs/WIs and leadership instructions.
  • Self-motivated; able to work in a team or individually.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Excellent attention to detail and fine motor skills.
  • Good timekeeping and punctual arrival to shifts.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with FileMaker and NetSuite ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare catalog products using manufacturing instructions, procedures and protocols.
  • Package, label, and store products and materials.
  • Maintain inventory of catalog products and raw materials.
  • Perform general laboratory and equipment maintenance.
  • Clean and evaluate production glassware.
  • Assemble support columns and document work with good practices.
  • Distribute products with proper documentation and SOPs.
  • Inspect finished goods and fulfill orders from stock.
  • Inspect orders before shipment and assist shipping/receiving.
  • Store hazardous materials properly and dispose of waste safely.
  • Perform other duties; work with PPE daily; lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Make batches of 40–70 liters; support production as required.

Your next role as a Miracle Maker

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Manufacturing team as a Temporary Manufactruring Associate I, Lab Operations. The primary role of Manufacturing Associate I is to formulate reagents, package supports, phosphoramidites, and other non-hazardous materials needed for the synthesis and purification of oligonucleotides as well as working with Hazardous materials and knowledge of general chemistry techniques.

How you will make an impact:
  • Prepare catalog products using manufacturing instructions, procedures and protocols
  • Associated tasks include packaging, labeling, and storing of product
  • Maintaining inventory of catalog products and raw materials
  • General laboratory maintenance and equipment maintenance
  • Evaluation and cleaning of necessary production glassware
  • Evaluation and assembly of support columns
  • Distribution of products with correct documentation, using good documentation practices.
  • Inspection of finished goods.
  • Fulfill products from stock for customer orders
  • Inspection of completed orders prior to shipment
  • Assist with general shipping and receiving of products and materials
  • Proper storage, handling, and disposal of organic solvents, hazardous chemicals, and waste
  • Perform other functions and duties as required.
  • Work with hazardous materials on Daily basis that will require wearing proper PPE at all time
  • Able to life 50lbs.
  • Making 40-70 liter batches at a time
  • Perform other functions and duties as required
The skills and experience that you will bring:
  • High School diploma required.
  • Must havegood communicationskills, written andverbal.
  • Must be able to followwrittenStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/Work Instructions (WIs)
  • as well as personalized instruction from leaders.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work both in a team setting as well as individually.

  • This is a manufacturing and production based job. No real research is involved.
