Job summary

GT Biosciences seeks a Research Associate to join the Platform Development Team in Cambridge, MA. The role is hands-on, with responsibilities spanning formulation of lipid nanoparticles and RNA delivery, QC, and supporting in vivo/in vitro studies.

Onsite five days a week, with a path to full-time conversion. You will learn new wet-lab methods, work alongside RNA delivery experts, and grow within a fast-moving startup environment focused on Deliveromics.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• At least 1+ years of wet laboratory experience.
• Strong commitment to accurate record-keeping and reliability.
• Proficiency with basic lab techniques and pipetting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and formulate lipid nanoparticles for mRNA/siRNA delivery.
• Support formulation screens by varying lipid composition and parameters.
• Perform formulation characterization and QC measurements.
• Prepare formulations for in vitro and in vivo studies.
• Maintain basic cell culture and support transfection/knockdown assays.
• Handle precise liquid-handling tasks with accuracy.
• Keep meticulous records and troubleshoot experiments.
