Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for wound, ostomy, and continence needs.
• Develop and document individualized care plans with interventions and supplies.
• Administer treatments and medications; monitor responses and adjust plans.
• Provide direct patient care for wound, ostomy, and continence needs.
• Educate patients and families on wound care and ostomy management.
• Educate healthcare staff through sessions on wound, ostomy, and continence care.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide emergent and on-call care during weekends and holidays.
• Address nursing staff educational needs to maintain competency.
