AdventHealth in Colorado is seeking an RN for wound, ostomy, and continence care on a PRN daytime schedule. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, treatment administration, and educating patients and families to support healing.

You will collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure high-quality care, monitor patient progress, and provide on-call coverage during weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualificações

• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• CWCN/CWOCN preferred.
• 1+ acute hospital experience required.
• Wound, ostomy and continence care experience preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients to determine physical, mental, social and spiritual needs related to wound, ostomy, and continence care.
• Develop and document care plans; administer treatments and medications safely.
• Provide direct patient care including wound/ostomy/continence care and comfort.
• Educate patients and families on wound care and lifestyle adjustments.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
