Job summary

AdventHealth Littleton, CO is seeking an experienced RN to deliver wound, ostomy, and continence care. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and administer treatments while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote healing and comfort.

The role requires strong communication, clinical knowledge, and the ability to manage a full patient caseload in a fast-paced hospital setting. PRN schedule with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Current knowledge in wounds, ostomies and continence.
• Ability to communicate with patients, staff and peers.
• Ability to work under stress and deadlines.
• Organizational and time management to manage a full caseload.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with physicians and nurses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments related to wound, ostomy and continence care.
• Develop and document individualized care plans and ensure accurate records.
• Administer treatments and medications safely and monitor patient responses.
• Provide direct patient care including wound, ostomy and continence management.
• Educate patients and families on wound care and self-care strategies.
• Educate healthcare staff through educational sessions on wound care practices.
• Coordinate with physicians and nurses to ensure continuity of care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide emergent and on-call care for weekends/holidays.
