The position emphasizes clinical competency, teamwork, and ongoing education through extensive CEU/training and a strong shared governance model, with opportunities for loan repayment, relocation help, and tuition

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and NH RN licensure eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years progressive responsibility in the designated setting.
• Excellent written, verbal and computer skills; strong leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate as first line supervisor to staff and provide direct assistance or connect with resources.
• Participate in performance evaluations and coaching; initiate disciplinary action as appropriate.
• Facilitate patient flow and optimize clinical capacity; flex staff schedules for coverage.
• Improve throughput to optimize capacity.
• Perform service recovery to promote patient and staff retention.
• Address conflicts and mediate discussions to maintain smooth operations.
• Participate in Quality and Patient Safety initiatives and committees.
• Plan and coordinate orientation for new staff; assess clinical competence.
• Perform other duties as required.
