Apploi is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (RN) to coordinate comprehensive wound assessments, plan of care, and treatment outcomes for residents. The role includes education for patients, families, and staff, and acting as a resource for physicians and clinical teams in wound management.

The RN will participate in quality improvement and infection prevention activities while providing general nursing duties across departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Florida
• Wound care certification desired or willing to obtain
• Experience in skilled nursing settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate wound care plans and assessments for residents
• Educate patients, families and staff on wound prevention and care
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to implement treatment plans
• Maintain infection prevention standards and participate in quality improvement
