Job summary

CommuniCare Health Services is seeking an RN Wound/Treatment Nurse for Glenwood Healthcare Center in Princeton, WV. The role requires an active RN license in the state, CPR, and wound care experience. ACLS is preferred; supervisory experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state where the center is located.
• Wound Certification preferred.
• Current CPR certification required, ACLS preferred.
• Prior healthcare experience.
• Prior supervisory experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments, dressing changes, ointments, sprays, and lotions per policy and orders.
• Perform monthly gastric tube and Foley catheter replacements.
• Perform trach care and suctioning.
• Document treatment decisions in nurse notes and related documents.
• Suggest treatment procedures or products to attending physicians.
• Re-order treatment supplies as needed from pharmacy/central supply.
