Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• At least 1 year of RN experience; wound care preferred.
• Critical Care or ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care for wound management, including dressing changes, VAC therapy, compression wraps, and diabetic casts.
• Assist with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy treatments in single and multi-person chambers.
• Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after HBOT sessions.
• Provide inpatient wound and ostomy care consultations.
• Educate patients on wound care, infection prevention, and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care.
