Job summary

Maria Parham Health in Henderson, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Women’s Services to provide direct patient care on 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am). A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and a commitment bonus (2 years) are offered, with a strong focus on compassionate care and teamwork.

Ideal candidates hold an NC RN license (compact accepted), ASN in Nursing, BLS certification, and 6–12 months of hospital experience in Labor/Delivery or Medical/Surgical units.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license (or compact).
• ASN from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• NRP certification required; Fetal monitoring experience preferred.
• 6–12 months hospital experience in Labor/Delivery or Med/Surg.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Women's Services using the nursing process.
• Perform plan of care interventions including meds, specimens, and treatments.
• Document care and monitor patient status; communicate with care team and family.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient education.
• Coordinate transfers, discharges, and referrals; support cross-discipline care.
• Maintain attendance and participate in performance improvement.
