Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This PRN position requires strong collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and a commitment to evidence-based practice and documentation.

The RN will work with professional standards, coordinate care, and promote education for patients and families, with flexibility in shifts and a focus on delivering high-quality care at St. Marys Regional Hospital.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from the interdisciplary team.
• Collaboratively develop and educate an individualized plan of care with patient and family involvement.
• Direct or delegate care, coordinate with the team, and manage time and resources.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise the plan of care as needed.
• Promote nursing professionalism, ethics, and accurate documentation.
