Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an RN Float Pool RN for West Penn Hospital with Neonatal, Postpartum, and OB care coverage. The role requires 2 years of acute care nursing in Women and Infant services and valid RN licensure (PA or eNLC).

CPR and NICU-specific certifications are expected. The position involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, providing education to patients and families, and supporting care transitions across units.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience in Women and Infant Care.
• Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR certification by American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification by American Heart Association.
• NRP neonatal resuscitation certification.
• Preferred: OB/Women's specialty care certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical assessment skills and care planning.
• Provides safe and effective care for the age population served.
• Directs and manages the activities of patient care delivery by the team.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team for the plan of care from admission through discharge.
• Assesses learning needs of patient and family and provides education.
