Allegheny Health Network is seeking an RN for the Float Pool in the Women and Infants unit at West Penn Hospital. The role focuses on flexible staffing across maternity and neonatal care areas, delivering patient-centered nursing care with HIPAA compliance and high standards.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience in Women and Infant Care
• Current State of PA RN licensure or valid multistate licensure via eNLC
• CPR – American Heart Association
• ACLS – American Heart Association preferred
• NRP certification
• Preferred OB/Women’s specialty certification

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates clinical assessment skills and care planning.
• Provides safe and effective care for the age population served according to regulatory requirements.
• Professionally directs and manages the activities of the patient care delivery by the team members.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team for the plan of care from admission through discharge.
• Assess learning needs of patient and family and provides education based on age, culture and willingness to learn.
