Job summary

Appone is seeking a Wellness Director (RN) for Kingwood Ranch in Kingwood, TX. This full-time role leads the nursing department, assuring high-quality, compliant care for residents while mentoring nursing staff and coordinating on-call coverage.

Candidates should have an active RN license, 3+ years in Assisted Living/Memory Care, and 2+ years of supervisory experience. Strong organizational skills and proficiency with EMR systems are essential.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience in Assisted Living/Memory Care or health care
• Minimum 2 years supervisory/management experience with direct care staff
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing department in a senior living community
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, compassionate care
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the nursing team
• Be on call to address urgent clinical situations as needed
• Monitor and implement nursing policies and procedures
• Analyze KPIs and clinical data to drive performance
• Maintain up-to-date resident clinical data in EMR system (YARDI)
• Foster positive interactions with residents and families
