Job summary
Nans Pointe Rehabilitation and Nursing in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to provide direct nursing care and supervise the day-to-day activities of nursing staff to ensure safe, quality resident care.
The successful candidate will hold a Virginia RN license, current BLS and CPR certifications, and an Associate degree. Weekend shifts apply, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered with quarterly payout.

- First aid and CPR certification
- Current RN license in Virginia
- Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor
Responsibilities
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans
- Prepare and administer medications and report adverse reactions
- Educate patients on procedures and record vital signs
- Monitor and adjust equipment and interpret displays
- Initiate corrective action for adverse symptoms
- Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients
- Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs
- Participate in discharge planning
- Record all care information concisely and timely
- Supervise support staff and licensed nurse
