Job summary

Lake Providence Nursing & Rehab in Lake Providence, LA is hiring a Weekend RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and support every other weekend. The role offers a flexible weekend schedule with 8.5 hours per weekend and customizable start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

The position requires an active Louisiana RN license and prior supervisory/charge experience is preferred. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure care standards, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to

• Current, unrestricted Louisiana RN license.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and support to nursing staff.
• Monitor resident care and respond to changes in condition.
• Provide guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Ensure nursing services are delivered according to established standards.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with clinical decision-making and address weekend concerns.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote compliance with facility policies, regulations, and nursing standards.
• Serve as a clinical resource and leader for the nursing team.
