Job summary

Hazelhurst Court Care and Rehab is hiring a Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to oversee both short term rehabilitation and long-term care. Under the Director of Nursing, you will develop and implement individualized nursing care plans and supervise nursing personnel.

You will participate in daily unit operations per shift, provide leadership when needed, and assist with orientation of staff to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice and graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
• Physical assessment skills and knowledge of nursing principles are required.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing and supervisory experience preferred.

Hazelhurst Court Care and Rehab is hiring a Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent RN Weekend Supervisor utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of Nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift, unit level and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Requirements

• Must have a current Registered Nurse License issued in the state where the person will practice, and the candidate must be a graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
• Possess physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles are also required.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing and experience in supervisory capacity are preferred.
