Job summary

Hazelhurst Court Care and Rehab is seeking a Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to oversee care in short term rehab and long-term care settings, reporting to the Director of Nursing.

The role includes developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, orienting and supervising staff, and ensuring daily unit operations run smoothly on weekends. Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing and supervisory roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a RN with current license in the practicing state.
• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.

Hazelhurst Court Care and Rehab is hiring a Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent RN Weekend Supervisor utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of Nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift, unit level and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Requirements:

1. Must have a current Registered Nurse License issued in the state where the person will practice, and the candidate must be a graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
2. Possess physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles are also required.
3. Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing and experience in supervisory capacity are preferred.
