Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners is seeking an RN with leadership experience to provide nursing care within the Grants, NM area. The role ensures patient needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, and center policies.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license and has nursing management experience, implementing infection control and quality improvement initiatives while educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN in state.
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within scope of practice according to standards.
• Utilize the Infection Control Manual.
• Participate in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilize the Quality Life Manual for patient programs.
• Notify other departments of patient changes and educate families.

Objective

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.
• Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.
• Conducts family and patient education.
