Job summary

Aviata Health Group in New Port Richey, FL, is seeking an RN to supervise nursing staff and oversee patient care in a skilled nursing setting during weekend shifts.

You will ensure compliance with standards, coordinate resident care with facility personnel, and train and supervise CNAs. This role requires an active Florida RN license; SNF experience is preferred, and a compassionate, dedicated approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license to practice in Florida.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities is preferred.
• Qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.

• Supervises staff and oversees patient care in accordance with standards of care and applicable state/federal regulations.
• Follows facility policies and coordinates resident care with other facility personnel.
• Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants during shift, assigns work, and ensures standards are met.

Major Responsibilities

• Supervises staff and oversees patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations.
• Follows established facility policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care with other facility personnel.
• Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants during shift including assigning and distributing work, performance management, training new staff, and ensuring work is being performed according to facility standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.
• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
