Job summary

Alamance Health Care Center in Burlington, NC is seeking an LPN or RN House Supervisor for a 180-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. The role requires caring, warm-hearted nurses to provide meaningful work and build relationships with patients and families.

The House Supervisor oversees the nursing department in the DON’s absence, reviews staffing, and coordinates admissions, transfers, and discharges with proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license to practice.
• Minimum 1 year of nurse supervisor experience.
• Experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing department in the DON’s absence.

Nursing is what we do! Alamance Health Care Center is currently seeking an LPN or RN House Supervisor for our 180 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Burlington.

The House Supervisor oversees the nursing department in the DON’s absence. The House Supervisor reviews staffing at the change of a shift and assigns and replaces staff to meet patient care needs. Completes patient care rounds. Coordinates admissions, transfers and /or discharges and ensures appropriate documentation. Assists in orientation of evening and night shift employees. Supervises and evaluates evening and night shift employees.

Qualified candidates will be a licensed LPN or RN and have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a nurse supervisor as well as experience in acute setting.
