Job summary

Envive Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse Weekend Manager to oversee the nursing department's weekend operations. You will lead care planning, supervise staff, and ensure safe, compassionate resident care.

Your role involves directing services on assigned units, coordinating with providers, and maintaining quality of life for residents while upholding facility policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN or LPN license is required.
• Minimum one year of long-term care experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the implementation of the resident care plan and ensure safety, positioning and toileting protocols.
• Coordinate and supervise services on assigned units to maintain a home-like atmosphere.
• Perform regular rounds on units, monitor staff and respond to admissions and acutely ill residents.
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect and that policies are followed.
• Foster a team-oriented environment and support nurses with care planning and education.
• Monitor and document incidents, accidents and complaints accurately.

Job Summary:

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to oversee the weekend operations of our nursing department. As a Weekend Manager, you'll be responsible for directing and supervising the implementation of resident care plans, coordinating services on assigned units, and providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff. Responsibilities:

• Assist in directing and supervising the implementation of the resident care plan, ensuring the use of appropriate safety devices, positioning and toileting plans, and infection control measures
• Coordinate and supervise all services on assigned units to achieve a comfortable and homelike atmosphere for our residents
• Regularly round on nursing units to check in with licensed and unlicensed staff, check on residents who are acutely ill or actively dying, and greet new admissions
• Ensure staff treats residents with dignity and respect and adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Create a team-oriented atmosphere that enhances resident care and quality of life by providing support and direction for nurses, assisting with assessment and care planning, and providing education
• Monitor and report incidents, accidents, and resident/staff complaints, and assure complete and accurate documentation
• Facilitate communication between licensed nurses and providers, responsible parties, or outside vendors to ensure resident care needs are met
• Respond to facility emergencies, consult with Unit Managers, and exercise hiring and terminating authority as needed

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed RN/LPN
• Minimum one-year experience in long-term care – supervisory experience preferred
