The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking an RN Weekend Supervisor (7a-7p) to provide clinical leadership and oversight within our community. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote clinical excellence through collaboration and effective communication.

You will assess resident conditions, coordinate interventions, and document physician notifications while supporting staffing, onboarding, and ongoing competency development.

Qualifications

  • Must hold an active RN license in good standing.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
  • Minimum two years RN experience, preferably in long-term care.
  • Experience supervising licensed practical nurses and CNAs is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to nursing staff during weekend shifts.
  • Assess resident conditions, determine interventions, and document physician notifications.
  • Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, medications, and protocols.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and coordination.
  • Respond to clinical emergencies and resident concerns.
  • Mentor LPNs and CNAs to maintain quality care delivery.
  • Promote infection control, safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support survey readiness and participate in audits and corrective actions.
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and communicate with families.

Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor - 7a-7p

The RN Supervisor plays an integral role in the success of our team and our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. The primary purpose of this position is to provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centered nursing care. This role supports the Director of Nursing by supervising nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting clinical excellence through coaching, collaboration, and effective communication.

Essential Job Functions
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
  • Assess resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions, physician notification, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, medication administration, and treatment protocols.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and coordination.
  • Respond to clinical emergencies and resident care concerns.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care delivery.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and competency development of nursing team members.
  • Support performance improvement and corrective action processes in collaboration with nursing leadership.
  • Ensure nursing services comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and licensure requirements.
  • Promote resident safety initiatives, including infection prevention, fall prevention, and quality improvement efforts.
  • Support survey readiness, audits, and implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Partner with leadership to support staffing, scheduling, and operational needs.
  • Participate in meetings, quality initiatives, and committees as assigned.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge And Critical Skills
  • Be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
  • Deal tactfully with personnel, prospects, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
  • Capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility.
  • Communicate effectively in a manner that is sufficient for supervisors, team members, prospects, residents, and families.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Education And Experience
  • Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the applicable state.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
  • Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience.
  • Prior experience in long-term care, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare
