Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for Vascular Surgery and Podiatry clinics. This on-site role focuses on patient assessment, triage, care coordination, and perioperative support in a multidisciplinary ambulatory setting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years RN experience, with a preference for vascular surgery or related fields, and current NC RN licensure with BLS certification. A BSN is strongly preferred; Duke supports professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• BSN strongly preferred; enroll in BSN within two years and complete within seven years.
• 3-5+ years RN experience, preferably in vascular surgery, ambulatory care, or related specialties.

Responsibilities

• Identify care needs for patient populations at the unit level.
• Provide leadership in standards of care and patient education.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Mentor and guide staff at the unit level to improve quality of care.
