Job summary

Fairview Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Franklin, VA is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee the nursing care on their shift, ensure accurate medication administration and documentation, and supervise staff while maintaining resident safety and confidentiality.

The position requires an RN license, CPR certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State RN license.
• CPR certification.
• One year experience in a nurse role in long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to Residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity and freedom of choice.
• Supervises CNAs and subordinate staff to ensure assignments are completed.
• Manages shift reports and rounds to ensure safe and clean care.
• Keeps physicians and families informed of changes in resident condition.
• Maintains infection control and safety precautions during care and procedures.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate from accredited nursing program

Current State License as RN

CPR Certified

One year experience in long-term care
