Fairview Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Franklin, VA is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing care on the shift, administer medications, and ensure documentation complies with policies. You will supervise CNAs and staff, coordinate with physicians and families, and lead shift reports to maintain safety and quality care.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, CPR certification, and a proven track record in long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• RN license required and CPR certification.
• Experience supervising nursing staff and CNAs.
• Strong knowledge of infection control and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing care on shift and ensure timely meds and treatments.
• Supervise CNAs and staff; review assignments for completion.
• Greet and coordinate with physicians and families; provide updates.
• Conduct shift reports and rounds to ensure safe, clean care.
• Maintain accurate medical records per policies and confidentiality.
• Ensure infection control standards and safety precautions are followed.
• Support admissions, re-admissions, and transfers as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
