Job summary

Avir Vista is seeking an experienced RN to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department. This role ensures high-quality clinical care in compliance with all rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the facility.

You will supervise weekend staff, coordinate patient care on the unit, and participate in admissions, transfers, and discharges while maintaining documentation and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and licensed by the State.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in long-term or acute-care setting preferred.
• Supervisory or Charge Nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Nursing in planning, developing and directing day-to-day Nursing Department functions.
• Supervise weekend staff and coordinate patient care on the nursing unit.
• Deliver long-term or rehabilitative care in compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Prepare and review medical records and participate in admissions, transfers and discharges.
