Job summary

Galloway Health Center is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for the day shift in a sub-acute/long-term care setting in New Jersey. You will supervise nurses and aides, collaborate with the DON/ADON, and ensure accurate resident documentation and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include monitoring resident care, coordinating care plans, and ensuring supplies and equipment are maintained. NJ RN license and 1 year LTC/nursing supervision experience required.

Qualifications

• RN license required for New Jersey.
• Minimum of 1 year in long-term care or nursing supervision.
• Experience supervising nurses and aides in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nurses and aides for a long-term care facility.
• Coordinate with Director of Nurses and staff on changes.
• Monitor resident care and report to DON/ADON.
• Assess new admissions and document in the 24-hour report.
• Ensure proper MARs, nurses notes, and physician orders documentation.
• Liaise between nursing staff and physicians and triage calls.
• Verify supplies and equipment are in working order.
