Oasis at the Keys Nursing and Rehab in Tavernier, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Unit Manager to lead clinical operations in a skilled nursing facility.

The role involves supervising licensed nurses and CNAs, ensuring documentation and medication pass compliance, and coordinating with the medical team. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, with prior nurse management preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license (Required).
• BSN preferred or higher.
• Prior nurse management or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision to licensed nurses and CNAs under the guidance of Nursing leadership.
• Oversee daily care operations including admissions, discharges, diagnostics, and ER coordination.
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards, medication pass procedures, treatment cart readiness, and crash cart protocols.
• Conduct routine rounds to assess resident hygiene, room cleanliness, and care environment.
• Monitor CNA documentation, clinical alerts, refrigerator logs, and other quality indicators.
• Coordinate care delivery with on-site APRN, physicians, and Medical Director.
• Assist in staff scheduling, dining room coverage, and incident report follow-up.
• Participate in staff onboarding and in-service education sessions.
