Watertown Health Care Center is seeking an experienced Unit Manager to lead the Nursing Department in our skilled nursing facility located in Watertown, WI. Join a warm, family-like team dedicated to resident care and a stable, long-term career path.

The Unit Manager assists the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality care, proper staffing, and ongoing staff development in a compliant environment. RN license in state and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Three to five years of management experience.
• RN license in state.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring quality nursing care to all residents.
• Ensure nursing department is adequately staffed for quality care.
• Coordinate in-service/staff development programs to meet objectives and comply with regulations.
• Provide clinical expertise to support nursing processes and interventions.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
• Act as Director of Nursing in the absence of the DON as needed.
