Job summary

Complete Care at La Plata is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead nursing care for residents recently discharged from hospital and those needing long-term care. You will develop care plans, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality care in a compliant, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed to work within the State of Maryland as a RN Registered Nurse.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check & physical evaluation.
• Leadership experience in a long-term care setting.
• High level understanding of leadership, customer service and clinical competency.

Responsibilities

• Care Needs & Planning: Assist to develop, implement and continually update individual care plans, supplement hands on care needs.
• Assessments: Complete admission, discharge and other assessments as needed.
• Triage & Interventions: Assist to handle acute health changes, physicians' orders and collaboration with care providers & families.
• Regulatory Standards: Ensure compliance with federal, state, county & company health/safety regulations.
• Quality Assurance: Audit documentation & care for quality control/compliance.
• Family & Team Liaison: Communicates changes in resident conditions to families/providers, works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Team Oversight & Mentorship: Provide ongoing training, orientation & performance evaluations for staff. Manage staffing schedules and assignments.
