Job summary

The Rehabilitation Center of Albuquerque is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing unit, ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care, and achieve positive clinical outcomes while complying with state and federal regulations.

You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate staffing, mentor staff, oversee medication management, participate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals, and contribute to a collaborative, mission-driven work

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three years of nursing experience required.
• One year of nurse leadership experience required.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the nursing unit for delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage.
• Work with the interdisciplinary team to achieve patient goals and reduce rehospitalizations.
• Mentor and educate nurses and oversee medication management.
• Provide direct patient care as part of the unit team.
