St Anthony's Nursing Facility in New Mexico is seeking an Assistant Director of Nurses/Unit Manager (RN) to lead a defined unit, partner with the Director of Nursing, and ensure high-quality care and positive clinical outcomes.

You will oversee staff, coordinate care delivery, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while supporting patient and family satisfaction. This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with physicians and therapists, and responsible resource management.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure that patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values and company policies in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing unit.
• Manage the human resources in assigned unit to include limiting use of overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orientating staff, assessing the work performance of nursing staff, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.
