Job summary

Fairlane Senior Care & Rehab in Detroit, MI seeks an RN Unit Manager to coordinate clinical care for an assigned unit within a 24-hour operation. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, supervise the nursing staff, and ensure high-quality resident care using up-to-date practices and technology.

The role requires RN licensure in Michigan, CPR certification, and at least 2 years of related experience. You will supervise rounds, develop care plans, and contribute to quality and safety reporting

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Nursing (RN) State of Michigan License; CPR certification.
• Strong analytical abilities to develop personalized care plans and improve nursing care.
• Excellent customer service skills with commitment to delivering high-quality care.
• Team-oriented and dedicated to supporting colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team including directing assignments, training, and evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor care quality.
• Instruct the team on the skilled care process and serve as a clinical resource.
• Ensure completion of required reports (infection control, quality management, etc.).
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with residents, families, and visitors.

The Unit Manager is responsible for coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center’s 24 hour operation and ensuring consistent and quality care for all residents. What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:
