Job summary

NHC HealthCare Somerville is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Unit Manager RN on our care team. This leadership role provides day-to-day clinical oversight, supports care plans, and coordinates with physicians, residents, families, and the nursing staff.

Eligible hires may receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Employment is full-time with negotiable scheduling and pay that depends on experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in Tennessee (or multistate/compact license permitting Tennessee practice)
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Long-term care/nursing leadership experience preferred
• Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and oversight for the assigned unit.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of individualized plans of care.
• Review changes in condition and ensure timely clinical follow-up.
• Coach, support, and provide direction to nursing partners on the unit.
• Monitor documentation, medication and treatment practices, and compliance with nursing standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, interdisciplinary team members, patients, residents, and families.
• Support staffing, workflow, quality improvement, infection prevention, and survey readiness activities.
• Promote a culture of compassionate care, teamwork, accountability, and professionalism.

NHC HealthCare Somerville is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Unit Manager RN. This role provides clinical leadership for an assigned nursing unit, supports nursing partners, and helps ensure high-quality, coordinated care for patients and residents.
