Job summary

Qualified applicants possess an active Virginia RN license, CPR certification, and strong clinical leadership skills to support resident needs and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Excellent clinical knowledge and skill to assess and develop patient care plans.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate, delegate, communicate and problem solve; supervise staff performance.
• Must be licensed as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia; CPR certification required upon hire or within a certain period.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff with frequent, constructive feedback and interim evaluations.
• Ensure safety and quality patient care; hold staff accountable for care plans.
• Oversee unit operations, coordinate staffing and schedules, and participate in recruitment/selection when needed.
• Maintain complete documentation and conduct compliance rounds and unit inspections.
• Engage with Human Resources to ensure disciplinary processes and policy adherence.
