Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Defines and maintains nursing practice standards within the facility.
• Implements nursing policy and ensures smooth operation of the clinical department.
• Ensuring continued adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Management and oversight of all nursing staff.
• Providing planning, organization, education, supervision, and evaluation of all services provided in the facility.
• Verifying that all department staff is properly trained to perform their required duties.
• Ensuring that operation of the Nursing Department remains consistently within budget.
• Experience with the applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.
