Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State RN or LPN license.
• CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Provides quality nursing care to Residents in an environment that promotes rights, dignity and freedom of choice.
• Provides supervision to CNAs and subordinate staff and ensures assignments are completed.
• Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on shift.
• Gives and receives shift reports.
• Rounds the unit multiple times to ensure proper care is rendered in a safe, clean environment.
• Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in residents' condition.
• Assists in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Documents care provided and other information in medical records with confidentiality.
• Maintains infection control practices and safety precautions when providing care.
• Reports hazardous conditions, damaged equipment and supply issues.
• Maintains resident comfort, privacy and dignity, with warmth and respect.
• Responds promptly to call lights.
• Assists with new admissions and transfers between rooms.
• Communicates effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Attends departmental meetings and in-services.

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate from an accredited nursing program

Current State License as a RN or LPN
