Kenansville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Kenansville, NC, is seeking an RN Weekend Unit Manager to oversee nursing care on weekend shifts, supervise CNAs, ensure accurate medication administration, and maintain documentation in accordance with policy.

This role emphasizes resident rights, safety, and collaboration with physicians and families, with weekend Saturday/Sunday and every other weekend schedule; orientation and strong support from management are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State License as a RN or LPN.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality nursing care to Residents/residents and promotes rights, dignity and choice.
• Supervises CNAs and other staff, checks work to ensure assignments are completed.
• Supervises direct care of residents on the shift and gives/receives shift reports.
• Maintains infection control and safety practices and documents care provided.
• Keeps physicians and families informed about changes in resident condition.
• Assists in developing care plans and maintains confidentiality of records.
• Participates in departmental meetings and supports resident transfers when needed.
