Job summary

Kenansville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Kenansville, NC is hiring an RN Weekend Unit Manager to oversee nursing care on the shift, administer medications, and document care per policy. This role emphasizes supervision of CNAs, ensuring safety and quality for Residents on a Monday–Friday schedule.

You will round, coordinate with physicians and families, and participate in care planning while maintaining confidentiality and high standards of infection control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State License as an RN or LPN.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervises CNAs and subordinate staff on shift and checks assignments.
• Rounds the unit multiple times to ensure safe, clean care.
• Administers medications and treatments accurately and documents them.
• Maintains infection control and standard precautions during care.
• Keeps physicians and families informed of changes in Residents' condition.
• Assists with new admissions, re-admissions and transfers between rooms.
• Attends departmental meetings and provides shift reports.
